Terms of service.

The agreement between you and Jeli Ltd. Six clauses, written like a person rather than a lawyer. We've kept it short.

What Jeli is (and isn't)

Jeli is a software service that reads property documents and produces plain-English summaries. Jeli is not a licensed building practitioner, lawyer, conveyancer, valuer, or insurer. Outputs are informational only — make material decisions with a qualified professional.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login secure and using Jeli for your own property research. Don't share accounts. Don't scrape, automate, or resell outputs. Don't upload documents you don't have permission to analyse.

Paying for analyses

Your first two property analyses are free. After that, you'll be charged $10 NZD (incl. GST) per property at the time of upload. We use Stripe. Refunds are at our discretion within 7 days if Jeli failed to produce a usable analysis.

Accuracy

We try hard to be accurate. We make no warranty that outputs are complete or error-free. Always read the source documents, and consult a qualified professional before signing anything.

Ending things

You can delete your account any time from Settings → Account. We can suspend accounts that breach these terms, scrape the service, or abuse the chat with prohibited content. We'll always give you a chance to export your data first.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Any disputes go to the New Zealand courts.
